About the Client
Our client is a growing national retailer operating within the optical and healthcare retail space, combining professional services with premium eyewear and a strong focus on style, value and customer care.
About the Role
They are looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead one of their flagship locations - Chermside. This is one of the highest-performing stores in the business, supported by a large team, dedicated clinical professionals and industry-leading technology.
You'll lead a close-knit team of 11 in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. This role will suit an energetic, hands-on leader who enjoys coaching others, building a positive culture and leading from the front.
As Store Manager, you will:
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing retail team
- Foster a fun, supportive and accountable team culture
- Drive store performance while delivering an exceptional customer experience
- Partner closely with in-store clinical professionals to ensure a seamless customer journey
- Maintain high standards across visual merchandising, presentation and daily operations
- Oversee rostering, stock management and day-to-day store performance
- Coach your team through a busy trading environment while maintaining energy and service standards
- Build a culture focused on teamwork, development and customer care
What you'll bring
- Previous management experience within a fast-paced retail environment
- Optical retail experience is highly regarded but not essential
- Confidence leading larger retail teams and developing future leaders
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to drive performance
- A hands-on leadership style with excellent communication skills
- Resilience and the ability to thrive in a high-volume environment
- A genuine passion for customer service and coaching people
- Experience in health retail, fashion, specialty retail or another service-led environment will be highly regarded
