We’re currently partnering with a well-established customer-focused business to recruit a Store Manager for a high-performing retail location in Burwood.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or Senior Retail Leader who thrives in a smaller-format environment and enjoys having real ownership over customer experience, team performance and day-to-day operations.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As Store Manager, you’ll take ownership of the daily operation of the store while creating a welcoming, professional and highly trusted experience for every customer.
You’ll be responsible for:
• Leading and coaching a small, customer-focused team
• Driving sales, KPIs and customer conversion
• Building strong customer relationships and confidently explaining products and services
• Managing cash handling, reconciliation and day-to-day financial processes
• Ensuring operational, security and compliance procedures are followed
• Managing opening and closing procedures and daily store operations
• Supporting rostering, training and performance management
• Identifying opportunities to improve sales and overall store performance
WHAT’S ON OFFER?
• Base salary of $75,000 + Super
• Monthly performance-based bonus scheme with potential to earn up to approximately $40,000 additional
• Choose your roster! Five-day working week with roster options including Monday–Friday, Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re interested in speaking with retail leaders who can demonstrate:
• Previous Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Branch Manager, Supervisor or Senior Sales experience
• Strong commercial awareness and a track record of achieving targets
• Excellent attention to detail and confidence handling transactions and financial processes
• A warm, professional and trustworthy approach to customer service
• The ability to work autonomously and remain hands-on
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence coaching and developing others
• A genuine interest in working in a customer-facing, sales-focused environment
Experience within foreign exchange, banking, financial services or another high-value transaction environment will be highly regarded.
However, this is not essential. We’re also keen to meet strong retail leaders from industries such as jewellery, luxury retail, telecommunications, travel, hospitality, electronics and other specialty retail environments.
