- Lead global programs including the Komatsu Williams Engineering and Leadership Academies.
- Engage and influence senior leaders and global stakeholders to drive outcomes.
- Manage complex projects across multiple countries, coordinating timelines, priorities and deliverables.
At Komatsu Australia you’ll be part of an inclusive culture where all our people thrive, reflected in our purpose: creating value together. We encourage people with diverse backgrounds to apply for this role.
The Opportunity:
We're looking for an experienced Stakeholder Engagement Lead to join Komatsu's Global Brand Transformation team and play a key role in bringing our partnership with the Atlassian Williams Formula 1 Team to life.
This isn't your typical stakeholder engagement role. You'll work across international teams, engage with senior executives and external partners, and take ownership of initiatives that connect people, strengthen our brand and deliver meaningful outcomes.
We're looking for someone who can see the bigger picture, influence decisions, manage complexity and, most importantly, get things done.
What's the opportunity?
Working closely with our Vice President of Global Brand Transformation, you'll be at the centre of some exciting global initiatives.
You'll bring together stakeholders from different countries, functions and backgrounds, ensuring projects are aligned, communication is effective and commitments turn into results.
From leading global development programs to coordinating partnership activations and employee engagement initiatives, you'll have the opportunity to influence how Komatsu connects with its people around the world.
This is a role for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys working with senior leaders and knows how to navigate complex organisations to deliver results.
What you'll be doing
- Lead global programs, including the Komatsu Williams Engineering and Leadership Academies.
- Engage and influence senior leaders, global stakeholders and external partners to drive outcomes.
- Manage complex projects across multiple countries, coordinating timelines, priorities and deliverables.
- Drive employee engagement through F1 partnership activities, experiences and global initiatives.
- Support marketing and communications to promote programs and strengthen brand engagement.
- Turn strategy into action, bringing together cross-functional teams to deliver results and identify opportunities for improvement.

- Yearly Bonus: Potential to receive a yearly bonus.

What we are looking for:
We're looking for someone who has the confidence to engage senior leaders, the commercial awareness to understand business priorities and the organisational skills to deliver complex projects.
You'll ideally bring:
- Proven experience managing large, complex projects or programs, ideally involving multiple business functions, stakeholders or geographical locations.
- Strong senior stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively, negotiate priorities and gain commitment.
- Experience working with international or geographically dispersed teams, navigating different time zones, cultures and business priorities.
- A solid understanding of marketing, internal communications, brand engagement or partnership activation.
- Strong project management capabilities, including planning, coordination, risk management and delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for executive, technical and operational audiences.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to work independently and take ownership.
- The ability to manage competing priorities, influence without direct authority and bring people together to achieve outcomes.
What would give you an edge?
- Experience working within a global organisation or matrix reporting environment.
- Exposure to engineering, technology, manufacturing or technical industries.
- Experience managing strategic partnerships, sponsorship programs or global engagement initiatives.
- A technical understanding that enables you to engage confidently with engineering and operational stakeholders.
- Experience supporting brand transformation, organisational change or large-scale employee engagement programs.
You don't need to be a Formula 1 expert! We're far more interested in your ability to lead projects, influence stakeholders and deliver outcomes.
