- Perform all aspects of the painting process for refuse vehicles.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of municipal vehicles. Its range encompasses static compaction equipment, sweepers, sewer cleaning equipment, as well as vehicles for refuse collection.

About the Role
Perform all aspects of the painting process of their range of refuse vehicles to ensure a quality outcome and the achievement of set targets.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Undertake the full painting process coating process (undercoat and final coat).
• Perform paint mixing and colour matching to enable touch ups to already painted vehicles.
• Develop a sound understanding of all aspects of the paint process including chemicals and paint additives, viscosity and the drying, baking and curing processes.
Technical Knowledge and skills
• Trade Qualification as a Painter and or previous experience in similar role within the industry
• An eye for detail to enable you to provide a quality outcome
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to set and adhere to deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve
• Excellent customer service skills
