I am working with a NSW Government Organisation on a Social Media & Digital Communications Coordinator role.  This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful campaigns that support women and communities across New South Wales.

You'll play a key role in delivering engaging digital communications through social media, website content and email marketing campaigns. This role sits in a friendly and supportive communications team, you'll be responsible for coordinating digital content across multiple channels, monitoring campaign performance and providing insights to improve audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and publish content across social media platforms.
  • Update website content using a Content Management System (CMS).
  • Create, distribute and report on EDM campaigns using Mailchimp.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare engagement reports.
  • Analyse social media metrics and provide recommendations to improve performance.
  • Work closely with project teams to develop social media plans and campaign schedules.
  • Refine social media copy and captions provided by internal stakeholders.
  • Support communications across a variety of community engagement projects and initiatives.

About You

  • You'll be a hands-on communications professional who enjoys working across digital platforms and delivering engaging content.
  • Experience managing social media channels for an organisation.
  • Experience updating websites using a CMS.
  • Experience creating and sending EDMs using Mailchimp or a similar platform.
  • Strong written communication and copy-editing skills.
  • Experience analysing campaign performance using social media and email analytics.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
