Site Manager

Site Foreman / Site Manager 

We are seeking an experienced Site Foreman / Site Manager to join our team on a temporary contract for a major infrastructure project in Canberra. Due to changes in the project program and the need to mobilise two additional crews, we are looking for a capable site leader who can oversee day-to-day paving operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate paving works on site.
• Lead site crews to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to program.
• Maintain compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate plant, labour, and subcontractors to meet project objectives.
• Monitor site progress and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with project and client requirements.

About YouThe successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience managing paving works on civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction safety and quality standards.
• Current Forklift Licence.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Willingness and ability to successfully complete a Certificate III medical assessment.
