The Company

Established national construction company delivering fit-outs and refurbishments across Australia for more than 25 years. The business works across retail, education and commercial environments, with projects ranging from smaller upgrades to multi-million-dollar builds.

After previously delivering South Australian projects through its interstate teams, it is now opening an Adelaide office and is establishing a permanent local delivery crew.

The Role

• Run commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, materials and daily site activities
• Maintain control of programmes, quality, safety and site presentation
• Liaise with Project Managers, clients, centre management and consultants
• Manage defects and close-out properly

Some projects will run during standard daytime hours, while others will require night shift to work around live retail or commercial environments. You will need the flexibility to work either roster depending on the project.
  

The Criteria

• Experience supervising commercial fit-out, refurbishment or retail construction projects
• Strong understanding of fit-out sequencing and coordinating multiple trades across tight programmes
• Calm under pressure, hands-on and solutions-focused
• Confident communicating with clients, subcontractors and project teams
• Trade background or construction qualifications will be highly regarded
