The Opportunity
ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with an established South Australian developer-builder with a track record of delivering quality projects across the Adeaide market.
Operating across both development and construction, the business delivers a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential projects valued up to $40M, providing its construction team with involvement in projects from the early stages through to completion.
With a strong pipeline ahead, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to take ownership of upcoming projects and work closely with the Project Manager, construction team and senior leadership.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys having real ownership on site, working within a close-knit team and being part of a business that understands both the development and construction sides of a project.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of projects, ensuring programme, safety, quality and site operations are effectively managed from commencement through to handover.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading day-to-day site operations across projects valued up to $40M
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers
- Driving construction programmes and maintaining key project milestones
- Managing site logistics, sequencing and short-term programming
- Maintaining high standards across WHS, quality and compliance
- Coordinating site meetings, inspections and subcontractor activities
- Working closely with Project Managers and the broader construction team
- Liaising with consultants, clients and key project stakeholders
- Identifying construction risks and resolving site challenges proactively
- Managing quality, defects, commissioning and successful project handover

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager who is confident taking ownership of a project and enjoys being closely involved in the day-to-day delivery.
You will ideally bring:
- Proven Site Management experience within commercial or residential construction
- Experience delivering projects of similar scale and complexity
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and programming
- Confidence managing subcontractors, trades and site teams
- A relevant trade background, ideally Carpentry
- Strong knowledge of WHS, quality and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A highly organised, autonomous and solutions-focused approach
- A strong track record of delivering projects safely, on programme and to a high standard
