Operate shotcrete spraying equipment underground to install ground support systems, ensuring mine development and production areas remain safe, stable, and compliant with operational and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate underground shotcrete spraying equipment safely and efficiently
- Apply shotcrete to specified thickness and quality standards in accordance with ground support designs
- Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
- Monitor shotcrete quality, mix consistency, and application rates
- Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately
- Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture
