Description

Servicing Technician (Mobile Service Truck)

Griffith –  NSW

Like being on the tools but over spending every day in the workshop?

We’re looking for a Servicing Technician to take ownership of one of our Mobile Service Trucks, providing scheduled servicing and inspections to John Deere equipment across the Griffith region.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and taking ownership of their work. This role would suit an experienced mechanic looking for more autonomy, variety and a steady, predictable workload while building their skills on agricultural machinery.

You’ll spend most of your time travelling between farms in a fully equipped, purpose-built service truck, carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on some of the world’s best agricultural machinery.

Why people love this role:

Your own dedicated service truck

Variety and independence every day

Less major repair work, more planned servicing and inspections

Get out of the workshop and into the field

Strong customer relationships without sales pressure

Monthly performance incentive

Ongoing John Deere training and development

Support from an experienced service team when needed

What you’ll be doing:

  • Completing scheduled servicing and inspections on John Deere equipment
  • Carrying out basic diagnostics and minor repairs
  • Maintaining your truck, tools and inventory
  • Recording labour and service information through service business systems
  • Working with customers across the Griffith region
  • Assisting the workshop with repair work during quieter servicing periods

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Hydraulic and electrical knowledge
  • Good communication skills
  • A trade qualification
  • MR licence (or willingness to obtain one)
