An exciting opportunity is available for a Kalgoorlie-based Service Technician to join a well-established and growing business servicing industry-leading compressed air and power generation equipment across the Goldfields region.
This is a permanent local role offering stability, ongoing training and the opportunity to build a long-term career while being home every night.

About the Role As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, troubleshooting and repair of industrial air compressors, generators and associated equipment across a diverse customer base.
You'll enjoy a varied role that combines workshop and field service work, delivering high-quality technical support and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults
  • Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
  • Carry out repairs and component replacements
  • Complete detailed service reports and documentation
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers
  • Maintain a strong commitment to safety and compliance
  • Participate in site-based and workshop maintenance activities

About You:
We are keen to hear from candidates with experience as:

  • Mechanical Fitters
  • Diesel Mechanics
  • Plant Mechanics
  • Field Service Technicians
  • Fixed Plant Maintenance Technicians
  • Heavy Equipment Mechanics
  • Compressor or Generator Technicians

You will ideally possess:

  • Trade qualification in a mechanical discipline
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Experience with compressors, generators, pumps or industrial equipment will be highly regarded, however training can be provided to the right candidate with a strong mechanical background.

✔ Possess a current Australian Driver's Licence
