Job Description:
We're seeking a skilled and motivated Stonemason with 3 years experience to join our growing team! In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Fabricating and finishing a wide range of natural and sintered stone products including granite,
- marble, quartzite, porcelain, and engineered stone.
- Operating tools and machinery such as bridge saws, grinders, polishers, and CNC equipment safely
- and efficiently.
- Interpreting design drawings and templates to ensure fabrication matches project specifications.
- Installing stone components such as countertops, splashbacks, vanities, and wall cladding with
- accuracy and care.
- Ensuring correct alignment, leveling, sealing, and grouting of installed stone pieces.
- Inspecting slabs and finished products for quality, consistency, and any defects prior to installation.
- Collaborating with project managers, designers, and team members to ensure smooth project
- execution.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workspace in accordance with workplace health and
- safety guidelines.
- Following all company and site safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and handling
- equipment
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of stone materials, properties, and installation techniques.
- Experience with cutting and polishing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.
Full time Permanent Employment.
Annual Salary of $120k to $140k plus super.
