Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical)
- Support mechanical package delivery across fabrication and SMP works.
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders for project progress.
- Review technical documentation and manage queries for quality outcomes.
We are urgently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical) for a 4 month contract supporting delivery on the Alkimos Desalination Plant project. This is a site-based opportunity for a capable mechanical project engineer with strong fabrication and SMP package delivery experience who can quickly add value in a fast-moving project environment.
About the role
- Support mechanical package delivery across fabrication, SMP works and site execution.
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders to maintain safe, efficient progress.
- Review technical documentation, manage queries and help drive quality, completions and handover outcomes.
- Work 11 hour days, Monday to Friday, on a circa $100/hr + super contract rate.
About you
- Strong fabrication and SMP package delivery experience.
- Previous Tier 1 contractor experience will be highly regarded.
- Experience on major infrastructure or industrial construction projects is preferred.
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering degree with the confidence to work autonomously and solve site-based delivery challenges.
- Ideally based in Perth’s northern suburbs to support a reasonable commute and fatigue management requirements.
- Existing Australian work rights are essential
