Your new role
As the Senior Payroll Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- End-to-end payroll processing across a large employee workforce
- Managing complex payroll calculations and reconciliations
- Processing superannuation, PAYG, leave entitlements and award interpretation
- Producing payroll reports and delivering meaningful payroll insights
- Analysing payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies and improvement opportunities
- Supporting payroll audits and compliance activities
- Assisting with payroll system enhancements and process improvement projects
- Working closely with HR, Finance and key business stakeholders to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in a Senior Payroll Officer position
- Essential Chris21/iChris experience
- Strong end-to-end payroll processing capability
- Advanced payroll reporting and data analysis skills
- High-level Excel skills including reconciliations and data manipulation
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, superannuation and taxation requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
