Data#3 Managed Services team is growing! And we are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a senior technical advisor for customers, providing strategic guidance and solution recommendations across complex network environments.
- Identify opportunities for service improvement, automation, standardisation, and technology modernisation.
- Lead the technical investigation and resolution of complex incidents, problems, and major outages.
- Provide customers with value solutions, to meet their needs, within Data#3's delivery capability.
- Produce, manage and adhere to documentation e.g. site schematics, change control documents.
- Analyse customer environments and make proactive recommendations to improve efficiency, performance and/or reduce costs.
- Operate customer environments within the ITIL quality framework including Change, Incident, Problem and Capacity management.
- Resolve customer incidents, problems and requests to required service level targets.
- Liaise with customers to perform incident analysis and problem resolution management, to required service targets, defining and recommending appropriate technology solutions where no precedent solution is available.
- Manage time in a manner to ensure all tasks are completed within agreed SLA and time frames.
- Perform datacentre visits for troubleshooting failures, perform upgrades, and fulfil business requirements.
Key Technical Skills
- Fortinet / FortiGate / FortiManager / FortiAnalyzer
- Cisco Switching / Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, IE switches / VLAN / STP / HA & vPC experience
- Security / Cisco ISE Authentication experience
- Routing / WAN / BGP / OSPF / IPSEC VPN S2S and Remote Access experience
- PTP / Cisco WLC & Meraki Wireless Networking experience
- IT/OT Networking Experience
Good to have skills
- Infoblocks or similar DDI/IPAM experience
- Cambium / Maestro
- Cambium APT experience
- Starlink
- Azure Networking
- CloudFlare / WARP
