My client is a hugely successful, Melbourne based Fund Manager with some of the best performing funds in Australia. They have grown rapidly over the last ten years and have an extremely low turnover due to the effort that they put into ensuring that all staff feel empowered and are treated fairly and with respect.
  
The Senior Investment Operations Specialist position is a newly created role. Working in a high-performing team you will have a broad range of responsibilities across the entire daily trade lifecycle.

The Role:
  

• Oversee & approve daily and weekly NAVs of outsourced fund administrators, including cash flow, distributions, performance & fee accruals.
• Identify FX requirements and instruct cash movements with multiple custodians.
• Perform daily reconciliation of equity positions & cash between the investment management system & outsourced fund accountants & custodians.
• Support the investment team’s post trade execution.
• Prepare periodic and irregular client & internal reporting.

The Candidate
  

• 2+ years’ experience in an operational or middle office role within financial services.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
• The confidence to challenge processes and drive improvements.
