We're seeking Full-Stack Software Engineers to join a high-performing Australian defence technology team. Delivering innovative software solutions in a secure and complex environment.

What You'll Be Doing
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams delivering complex software solutions.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications using microservices architecture.
- Develop modern front-end applications using frameworks such as Angular, Vue, or Svelte.
- Build secure, high-performance back-end services using Python and Java Spring Boot.
- Utilise Docker for containerisation and support CI/CD implementation alongside DevOps teams.
- Ensure software quality, security, maintainability, and performance across the application stack.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with UX/UI, data, and systems engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to technical innovation.
Technologies
You'll work with a modern technology stack including Angular, Vue, Svelte, Python, Java (Spring Boot), AWS, Azure, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and a range of SQL and NoSQL databases.
About You
- A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Defence experience in full-stack software development.
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles and best practices.
- Experience working with cloud technologies and microservices-based architectures.
- The ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and agile teams.
- Eligibility to obtain, or currently hold, an Australian Government security clearance.
