We’re seeking a highly experienced Senior Content Designer to join a major government digital transformation program.
This is a senior, high-impact UX Content Design role for someone who can take complex legislation, policy and operational processes and turn them into clear, accessible and intuitive digital experiences for customers.
The Role
You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary and high resourced, agile team, partnering with UX Designers, Product Managers, Technology and senior stakeholders.
Your focus will be heavily customer-facing, including:
- Website and digital application content
- Customer onboarding and end-to-end journeys
- Error messages, guidance and administrative content
- Information Architecture and UX Content Design
- Customer research, interviews and usability testing
- Iterating content based on customer feedback and validation
- Designing for multiple customer personas and audiences
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- 8+ years' experience in Content Design / UX Content.
- Experience in government, licensing, registry or another highly regulated environment.
- Strong experience simplifying legislative and complex operational information.
- Excellent Information Architecture, UX/UI content
- Experience working within Figma or similar.
- Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work with complex operational environments.
- A genuine customer-first mindset and ability to make complicated information simple
- Prior experiene in Journalism, communications or similar content background is highly regarded. (but will not be considered without recent legislative content design)
