About YOUR New Job
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting capital investment decision-making across a large portfolio of projects.
You will provide robust commercial analysis, financial modelling and governance oversight to ensure optimal capital allocation and disciplined investment management.
This is a high-impact role where your insights will influence funding submissions, portfolio planning and transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and evaluate capital investment proposals and customer bids
- Develop financial models, scenario analysis and “what if” modelling
- Support annual budgeting and regulatory funding submissions
- Partner with Commercial Finance and operational stakeholders to monitor project performance, cash flow and budget variance
- Contribute to post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
About YOU
- Tertiary qualified in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline
- CPA/CA qualified (or working towards) highly regarded
- Proven experience in financial modelling, business case development and capital analysis
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex financial and non-financial data
- A confident communicator who builds trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
