Associate or Senior Associate Architect | Design-Led Practice 

We’re partnering with a highly respected architecture studio based in Newcastle, recognised for its considered, design-driven work across commercial, workplace, mixed-use and civic projects throughout NSW.

This practice has built a strong reputation for refined architectural outcomes, long-term client relationships and a collaborative studio culture. With a healthy pipeline of work and several significant projects progressing, they’re now looking to appoint a Senior Associate Architect to play a key leadership role within the practice.

This is a standout opportunity for someone looking to combine design leadership, project oversight and client engagement within a practice that genuinely values quality and craft.

The Role: 

• Leading architectural projects from concept through to completion
• Still hands on with the full cycle of a project, using ARCHICAD
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and consultants
• Mentoring and guiding project teams
• Contributing to design reviews and studio direction
• Supporting Directors with project strategy and delivery
• Playing a visible and influential role within the practice

About You:

• Registered Architect (or close to registration)
• Proven experience leading complex architectural projects - ideally Class 2 exposure
• Strong design sensibility supported by sound technical capability
• Confident client-facing and communication skills
• Experience mentoring and leading teams
• Local Australian experience essential
