ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYA key focus will be managing accounting, compliance and advisory services for a portfolio of business clients. You will play an important role in providing financial insights, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting clients through a broad range of accounting and taxation matters.You will be trusted to manage client relationships, oversee workflow and deliver accurate outcomes while maintaining exceptional service standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a portfolio of small to medium-sized business clients.
• Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and compliance reporting.
• Deliver accounting, taxation and business advisory services
• Assist clients with financial management, planning and operational matters.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders as required.
• Prepare budgets, cash flow projections and business performance reports.
• Identify technical accounting and taxation matters and contribute to solutions.
• Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships.
• Support, mentor and review the work of junior team members.
• Contribute to process improvements and ongoing client service excellence.

YOU WILL BRING

• Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• CA or CPA qualification, or ongoing studies toward completion.
• Experience within public practice accounting or business services.
• Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge.
• Experience preparing financial statements and business tax returns.
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel capability and experience with cloud-based accounting systems.
• High attention to detail, organisation and commercial awareness.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
