Senior Accountant – Private Business and Family Advisory

Your new role
Due to growth, we have an opportunity for full-time Senior Accountant in our Private Business and Family Advisory team, located in Newcastle.
In this role you will:
- Provide general accounting and tax compliance services to client groups within a broad range of industries.
- Prepare management reports for clients.
- Assist the client manager or partner with more complex taxation advice.
- Be responsible for the mentoring and training of junior team members.
About you
The successful candidate for this role will possess the following attributes:
- A minimum of 4 years experience in a public practice environment (business services/taxation).
- Completed (or near completion) of a Bachelor of Commerce degree (or similar) and have either commenced or intend to commence the CA program.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team where required.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- A strong desire to learn and grow your skills to the next level, along with a high level of curiosity.
- A strong sense of engagement with our core values (noted below).
