About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Consultant to join the Mackay team. 
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, identifying opportunities and negotiating outcomes that deliver value for both the customer and the business.

You will engage with a diverse range of customers, understand their needs, assess opportunities and guide them through tailored solutions. From building rapport and negotiating transactions to identifying opportunities to drive business performance, you'll play an important role in delivering results and creating a positive customer experience.

This is a varied, fast-paced role that combines sales, negotiation, customer engagement and commercial decision-making. You'll receive ongoing training and support to develop your product knowledge, sales capability and confidence.

Skills and Experience

• Experience in sales, customer service, business development or another customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust quickly.
• Confidence negotiating, influencing and working towards positive commercial outcomes.
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to recognise opportunities and convert conversations into results.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Resilience, adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• A professional, reliable and results-focused approach.
• An interest in products such as electronics, tools, jewellery or collectables is advantageous, but not essential.

You don't need a traditional retail background to succeed in this role. We're interested in people who enjoy sales, think commercially, build strong relationships and are motivated to achieve results.
