A Safety & Quality Coordinator role based in North Sydney, paying up to $100k base

Your new role
Reporting directly to senior leadership, this hands-on role will be responsible for managing safety, quality, compliance and audit activities across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and improving safety and quality management systems
  • Coordinating internal and external audits and inspections
  • Managing compliance activities across multiple regulatory frameworks
  • Supporting documentation control and quality assurance processes
  • Monitoring KPIs and compliance reporting
  • Assisting with operational and business improvement initiatives
  • Liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing support during occasional operational incidents as part of an after-hours roster

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will bring:

  • Experience in quality assurance, auditing, compliance or safety management
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems and continuous improvement processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Confidence working in operational or industrial environments
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of outcomes
  • A practical, resilient and adaptable approach

Exposure to workforce relations, unions, enterprise agreements or industrial environments will be highly regarded. Candidates on a WHV who meet the criteria and also possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic and resilient, can-do approach will also be considered.
