The Role
You’ll work closely with clients and their technical teams to strengthen risk management systems, optimise operational performance and develop practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the effectiveness of risk management systems.
- Facilitate risk and improvement workshops.
- Engage with clients and technical experts.
- Develop practical risk tools, including checklists, incident reporting systems and Power BI dashboards.
- Review how risk controls and tools perform in practice.
- Analyse and present findings to clients.
About you You will have:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 5+ years’ experience in a high-hazard industry, such as mining, chemical processing or heavy industry
- A systems thinking approach to risk and organisational effectiveness.
- Knowledge of Bowtie assessments
- Strong practical and operational experience.
- The ability to navigate complex problems and uncertainty.
- A focus on outcomes rather than simply following processes.
- Willingness to travel regularly to client sites.
- A current Australian Driver’s Licence.
