Our client is an established operator across the shopping centre and retail activation space, with a portfolio spanning multiple states. They are looking for an experienced Retail Property & Leasing Manager who can take ownership of landlord relationships, negotiations and the ongoing performance of the portfolio.
This is not a role where you are just tracking lease dates and processing paperwork. You’ll be involved in the commercial decisions — negotiating new agreements, renewals, variations and exits, working closely with landlords and centre management, and helping shape the wider portfolio strategy.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage a national portfolio of retail sites and agreements
- Negotiate new deals, renewals, variations and exits
- Manage key landlord and centre management relationships
- Stay across lease obligations, critical dates and compliance
- Review leases, licences and commercial terms
- Work closely with legal and internal stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to strengthen portfolio performance
- Support accurate reporting and property documentation
What we’re looking for:
You’ll need solid retail property experience and a genuine understanding of shopping centres, leasing and commercial negotiations.
You could come from a retailer, shopping centre, leasing or portfolio management background, but you’ll need to be confident managing multiple sites, negotiating commercial outcomes and dealing with senior stakeholders.
You’ll be organised, proactive and commercially sharp, with the confidence to take ownership rather than wait to be told what to do.
Working in stunning offices in the heart of the CBD this is a role in a more boutique style office working in a team of 4 includig the Director. If you know retail property, enjoy negotiating and want a role where you can have real input into a growing national portfolio, I’d love to hear from you.
