About the Role

Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of the residence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strong leadership across clinical, hospitality, lifestyle, and support services
  • Driving quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Managing operational performance, budgets, and workforce planning
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families, employees, and key stakeholders
  • Creating an engaged and high-performing team culture
  • Supporting positive resident experiences and outstanding care outcomes
    About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Prior experience managing a medium to large aged care residence (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of aged care regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Proven leadership and people management capability
  • Experience in workforce planning, rostering, resource allocation, and budget management
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
  • Sound computer literacy and experience using care management systems
  • A genuine passion for improving the lives of older Australians
  • A collaborative, compassionate, and resident-focused approach
  • Current Police Check (within 12 months)
  • Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or valid Australian work rights.
