Montessori Care Pty Ltd is a care services provider operating in the Sydney area. We are looking for a full-time and permanent Residential Care Officer to support the delivery of care services and assist with the day-to-day needs, wellbeing and support of our clients. If you are someone with at least 1 year experience, a passion for caring for others and strong communication skills, we would love to hear from you.
As our permanent and full-time Residential Care Officer, you will be responsible for supporting clients with their daily care needs, implementing care plans and liaising with families, healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure care is delivered safely, respectfully and to a high standard.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing daily care and support to clients in accordance with their individual care plans
- Assisting clients with personal care, daily routines, mobility and community participation
- Monitoring clients’ physical, emotional and social wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate care records, progress notes and incident reports
- Liaising with families, healthcare professionals, support workers and management
- Supporting the implementation and review of individual care plans
- Ensuring compliance with care standards, workplace health and safety requirements and duty of care obligations
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role. Experience within aged care, disability support, residential care or community care is highly regarded.
We are offering a competitive salary of $75,000 - $85,000 per annum + superannuation depending on the candidate, a supportive and friendly environment and opportunity to grow with a successful business.
