Building Maintenance Supervisor to oversee insurance repair across South Australia

Your new company
An established South Australian building contractor is seeking an experienced Building Supervisor to join its growing team. The business delivers a range of residential and commercial repair and reinstatement projects and has built a strong reputation for delivering quality outcomes for its clients.Due to ongoing workload, they are looking to add an experienced Supervisor who can confidently manage multiple projects and coordinate trades across South Australia.

Your new role
As Building Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of building repair and reinstatement works from commencement through to completion.Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and trades across multiple sites
• Managing project progress, quality and timelines
• Conducting regular site inspections and monitoring works
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with scope and required standards
• Managing variations and addressing issues as they arise
• Maintaining accurate project and site documentation
• Ensuring WHS requirements are maintained across all projects
• Travelling to regional South Australia as required, with the majority of projects located across metropolitan Adelaide

What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Building Supervisor, Site Supervisor or similar
• Experience across residential or commercial building works
• Strong trade knowledge and the ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• The ability to independently manage multiple projects at different stages
• A current driver's licence
• Flexibility to travel throughout South Australia when required
• Previous experience within insurance repairs, restoration or reinstatement would be highly regarded
