About you
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory at Calvary Bruce Private Hospital is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac, vascular, & radiology procedures.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, the RN ensures safe, efficient, and evidence-based care across all phases of the patient journey, consistent with Calvary’s Mission, Vision, and Values, and commitment to excellence in private healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive critical nursing care for patients undergoing procedures such as diagnostic and interventional radiology & vascular procedures, coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), pacemaker/ICD insertion, and other cardiac interventions.
- Conduct thorough pre-procedure assessment, preparation, and patient education
- Perform intra-procedural roles including scrub, tech, and circulating nurse
- Monitor ECG, haemodynamics, and patient condition throughout procedures
- Deliver post-procedure care, including vascular access management, haemostasis, and early detection of complications
- Participate in on-call roster to support emergency cardiac procedures

- Valid Visa
- Demonstrated recent Cath lab experience
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
