Registered Nurse - Mental Health, Central Coast Clinic

Requirements and Role Expectations

• Clinical Practice: Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for Mental Health and Drug & Alcohol patients.

• Professional Registration: Must hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

• Compliance & Safety: Must possess a current Working with Children Check, Police Check, and a valid driver’s license.

• Health Standards: Evidence of Category A immunizations (including COVID-19) and a serology report are mandatory.

• Governance: Demonstrated understanding of clinical governance, quality improvement principles, and accreditation standards.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across a multidisciplinary health team.

• Legal Standing: Applicants must have valid working rights in Australia, as sponsorship is not currently available.

• Preferred Experience: Candidates with acute inpatient experience, postgraduate qualifications, or previous experience in a private healthcare setting will be highly regarded.
