QUALIFIED MOTOR MECHANIC

BADI WA SHAMS PTY LTD T/A QUANTUM MECHANIX is seeking an experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join our team in Fairfield East. This is a full-time position offering competitive remuneration and the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a professional automotive environment.

Position Details

1. Position: Qualified Motor Mechanic
2. Employment Type: Full Time
3. Location: Fairfield East, NSW
4. Salary Range: $79,000 - $83,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

1. Diagnose, service, and repair motor vehicles to manufacturer specifications
2. Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake services, and suspension repairs
3. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide detailed reports
4. Identify mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment and tools
5. Must maintain accurate service records and documentation
6. Ensure all work meets safety standards and quality requirements
7. Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs
8. Maintain a clean and organise work environment

Essential Requirements

1. Qualification: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
3. Valid driver's license - Light and Heavy
4. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team and manage the workshop
6. Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
7. Good communication skills and can do attitude
8. Experience in diesel engines is must
9. Air-conditioning repair and installation
