Your new companyOur client is a growing civil contractor delivering complex projects across the data centre and infrastructure sectors. With an established reputation for quality delivery and a strong pipeline of upcoming works, they are continuing to expand their project delivery team.This is an opportunity to join a business where your contribution will have a direct impact on project outcomes, client relationships and future growth. You will work closely with senior leadership and play a key role in delivering projects across Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra.
Your new roleAs Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple civil construction projects from planning through to completion.Key responsibilities include: Managing project programmes, budgets and resources Leading project teams and coordinating subcontractors Overseeing earthworks, drainage and storm-water packages Managing RFI's, variations and contractual correspondence Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget Supporting business development and identifying future opportunities Contributing to strategic business growth and project performanceThe role will involve a mix of office and site-based work across active construction projects.What you'll need to succeed Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within civil construction Strong background delivering earthworks, bulk earthworks, drainage and storm-water projects Sound understanding of contract administration, variations and commercial management Experience working with principal contractors, developers and subcontractors Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills Knowledge of surveying and construction technologies such as Trimble and Total Station equipment Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
