Project Manager

The Company
Our client is an established Victorian commercial builder with a strong track record across industrial and commercial construction. With a healthy pipeline of secured work, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a $30m industrial facility in Port Melbourne.

The Role
You will take overall responsibility for the project’s commercial, contractual and operational delivery. Working with an experienced site and administration team, you will drive the project from preconstruction through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the project team and overall construction delivery
• Manage the program, budget, procurement and contractual obligations
• Oversee consultants, subcontractors and key project stakeholders
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, variations and financial reporting
• Identify and manage commercial, design and construction risks
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular reporting
• Ensure safety, quality and programme requirements are achieved
• Lead project completion, commissioning and handover

About You

• Proven experience managing commercial or industrial projects over $20m
• Strong commercial, contractual and financial management skills
• Sound understanding of industrial construction methodology
• Effective leadership and stakeholder-management capability
• Ability to manage projects from commencement through to completion
• Relevant construction management, building or engineering qualification
