About the role

The Production Superintendent role is a Full-Time position, based at Vermont, VIC. Reporting to Manufacturing Manageryou will provide people and process leadership to the Monier Rooftiles Production teams, ensuring the team's health & safety, the environment, and CSR's code of conduct are never compromised.

In this role, you will:

  • Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past.
  • Full accountability for production staff and day to day production operations to ensure delivery within the Monier rooftile (Clay) factory.
  • Mentor, train, and support team members and hold them accountable to deliver production, quality and safety objectives.
  • Collaborate with Managers and Production employees as well as other parts of the areas.
  • Have excellent people management and problem-solving skills as technical support will be required.
  • Experience in analysing data and reporting.
  • Experience in LEAN manufacturing experience will be considered highly advantageous.

What you bring to the role

  • A strong commitment to safety awareness
  • Demonstrated progressive experience in a production or process technical role in a similar industry.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Supervisory & motivational experience & knowledge (people person)
  • Knowledge & Production experience in a manufacturing environment
