Northern Iron & Brass Foundry (NIBF), part of Iplex, has been part of the local community since 1934. Based in Wangan, just outside Innisfail, we manufacture iron, bronze, aluminium and steel castings supplied across Australia and internationally.
We are looking for reliable, hard-working people to join our team as Production Operators.
What is the job really like?
We want to be upfront. Foundry work is hot, physical and hands-on. You will be on your feet, working with tools and equipment and learning different parts of our production process along the way.
For the right person, it also offers something valuable, permanent local work, a 9-day fortnight, weekly pay and the opportunity to learn practical manufacturing skills without having to leave the Innisfail area.
You do not necessarily need foundry experience. If you have worked in agriculture, construction, trades, manufacturing, processing, warehousing or another hands-on environment, we would like to hear from you.
