We have a number of exciting full-time opportunities throughout our Caboolture operations for Process Employees & Machine Operators. We are after applicants that want to join a national business, be motivated to make a difference and be provided an opportunity to grow a career with AKD.

Shifts are available with our attractive roster allowing you to work full-time hours across a 4-day week roster between Monday & Thursday on the shift that suits your lifestyle. 

We have a number of different departments across our site which creates fantastic opportunities to learn a number of different roles.

Day shift Rosters

  1. 4-day work week: Start at 5am and finish at 3pm Monday to Monday to Thursday – Have a long weekend every weekend! (working a 9.5-hour shift).

Afternoon shift rosters

  1. 4-day work week:: Starts at 3:30pm and finish at 1:30am Monday to Thursday – Have a long weekend every weekend! (working a 9.5-hour shift).

These positions will suit a motivated applicant that is keen to grow within a large organisation in a high performing team.

  Key Duties & Responsibilities will include:     

  • Set up and operate production machine centres effectively and according to established standards
  • Ensuring all quality specifications are met
  • Record process data to support continuous improvement – equipment fault codes, quality data, product tally data
  • Reporting equipment faults and assisting maintenance team in completing diagnosis and repairs
  • Manual handling – bending, lifting
  • Wrapping and strapping of timber packs

The successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience manual handling type roles
  • Reliability and flexibility
  • Motivated and willing to grow
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commitment to Workplace Health & Safety
  • Commitment to long term employment
  • Forklift license and experience is an advantage but not mandatory
