If you are an experienced Principal or Lead Business Analyst with strong digital health, healthcare ICT, PAS/eMR or large-scale transformation experience, we would be keen to hear from you.

Aspirante is seeking an experienced Principal Business Analyst to join eHealth Queensland's Delivery Services Branch, supporting a major program to modernise the Queensland Health Patient Administration Solution (PAS) across all 16 Hospital and Health Services.

The program is currently in the readiness and detailed planning phase, including development of the program business case and accelerated implementation planning. Once approved, this multi-year initiative will support improved patient engagement, access to services and modern healthcare delivery across Queensland.

The opportunity
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will lead business analysis activities across a large and complex ICT program, partnering closely with Program and Project leadership, clinicians, business stakeholders, SMEs and end users.

Key responsibilities

  • Leading and managing business analysis activities across the program
  • Supporting the development of high-value business cases and solution options
  • Leading business process modelling and ensuring alignment with relevant standards
  • Providing strategic and operational advice on BA approaches, frameworks and methodologies
  • Supporting data migration-related analysis
  • Facilitating workshops and engaging with senior stakeholders across business and clinical environments
  • Mentoring and supporting other Business Analysts
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of the Business Analysis Practice within eHealth Queensland

About you

  • Significant experience leading BA activities within large and complex ICT programs
  • Strong experience with data migration
  • Advanced business process modelling, ideally using BPMN
  • Strong knowledge of business analysis frameworks, methodologies and tools, ideally aligned to BABOK
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, facilitation and communication skills
  • Experience leading or mentoring multidisciplinary teams
  • At least 5 years' business analysis experience within large, complex healthcare-related organisations
  • Previous experience with Patient Administration Systems (PAS) and/or electronic Medical Record (eMR) environments
