Powder Coater is needed for a permanent role paying up to $80'000 + super, based in Forrestdale.

A WA-based client who specialises in the Agricultural industry requires, for growth, a Powder Coater.
Your new role
Typical Responsibilities

• Preparing wheel rims and components for coating (cleaning, degreasing, masking).
• Sandblasting or abrasive blasting surfaces to remove rust, scale, and old coatings.
• Applying powder coat using electrostatic spray equipment.
• Operating curing ovens to bake and harden the powder coating.
• Conducting quality inspections for coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality.
• Touching up defects and reworking components where required.
• Following safety procedures relating to chemicals, PPE, and coating equipment.
• Assisting with wheel assembly and general workshop duties as required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in powder coating, spray-painting, or industrial painting.
• Sandblasting experience.
• Ability to work with large steel wheels and heavy components.
• Attention to detail and quality control.
• Knowledge of surface preparation and coating processes.
• Forklift ticket (often desirable in manufacturing environments)
