Location: Lonsdale, SA
Rate: Au$ 33 per hour
Shifts: Day (6:00AM - 2:06PM) | Afternoon (2:00PM - 10:06PM)
Days: Monday to Friday
Casual Ongoing Opportunity
We are seeking reliable and motivated Plant Operators / Machine Operators / Forklift Operators to join their manufacturing team in Lonsdale. This is an ongoing opportunity with a leading Australian carpet manufacturer, offering stable employment and immediate starts for suitable candidates.
Duties include:
- Loading yarn and materials into carpet tufting machinery
- Setting up and operating carpet manufacturing equipment
- Operating a forklift to move raw materials and finished products
- Recording and monitoring production data
- Maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
- Assisting with general production and material handling duties
To be successful, you will have:
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Previous machine operating and/or forklift experience
- Experience in carpet manufacturing, textile production, or similar machinery highly regarded but not essential
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and stand for extended periods
- Ability to regularly lift min 5kg
- Flexible attitude toward overtime and additional hours when required
