The Role
We are seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Plant Operators on a full-time 12-month Fixed Term Contract basis at our Geraldton Terminal.
This frontline role plays a major part in our supply chain working with Growers, Contractors and Team members to sustainably create and return value to Growers.
Roster: 4:4 (shift patterns consisting of 2 days and 2 nights)
Responsibilities include:
- Grain sampling, receivals and plant hygiene
- Control room operations
- Fumigation management as well as preparing grain for shipping whilst at all times focussing on safety, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Physically, the role involves bending, stretching, climbing ladders, some computer data entry, working in confined spaces, at heights and in a hot and dusty environment.
About You:
- Experience working in a team-focused environment in the grain handling industry
- Basic computer skills
- Possession of FEL, EWP, MR or HR tickets/license highly advantageous
