ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and commercially minded Planning Manager to join the Cotton On Kids team. Leading a team of Planners, Assistant Planners and Analysts, you'll bring the planning strategy to life for the brand. You'll empower your team to make great commercial decisions, identify opportunities for growth and ensure we're delivering the right product, in the right place, at the right time. Just as importantly, you'll invest in developing your team, building capability and creating an environment where people can do their best work.

Reporting to the Head of Planning, you will partner closely with the Cotton On Kids leadership team and broader Cotton On business to drive global performance. Working alongside the Product teams, you'll help shape the planning strategy, using customer, product and trade insights to influence key decisions and deliver great outcomes for both our customers and the business.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a similar Senior Planner/Planning Manager role within a retail environment 
  • Strong people leadership skills, with the ability to coach, develop and inspire teams to achieve result 
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to a broader leadership team and influencing strategic business decisions 
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels cross functionally (Planning, Product, Buying) 
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with a proven ability to make high-impact decisions which balance customer needs and inventory investment  
  • Highly organised and self-motivated, with excellent time management skills and attention to detail
