- Pack orders from pick-totes into cartons for dispatch
- Load cartons into trucks via conveyor belt
- Prepare on-site delivery vehicles and palletize Dangerous Goods cartons for transport
Our client, a leading distributor of hardware, lighting, ventilation, electrical, cable accessories, datacomms, and test & measurement products, is looking for experienced Dispatch Storeperson to join their team in Glendenning for an immediate start.
This role is initially offered to start as a casual and may lead to a permanent opportunity for the right applicants.
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:30AM – 5:30PM & Friday 9am to 5:30pm
Pay Rate: $34.26 per hour
Key responsibilities/duties:
- Pack orders from pick-totes into cartons for dispatch
- RF scanning products
- Load cartons into trucks via conveyor belt (rotated duties)
- Pack outbound orders on conveyor lines
- Prepare on-site delivery vehicles
- Palletize Dangerous Goods (DG) cartons for transport
- Other warehousing duties as required
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment
- Proficient in RF scanning
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks (up to 25kgs)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Full Australian working rights with no visa restrictions on hours worked per week
- Committed to working in a long term role
- Available for an immediate start
