About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Rehabilitation Service (NARS) is looking for a committed Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Modbury, delivering high-quality outpatient rehabilitation. The position is based in the Day Rehabilitation Service (DRS), located at the Specialist Ambulatory and Rehabilitation Centre (SpARC). This is a purpose-built rehabilitation facility with a fully equipped gym and hydrotherapy facilities. There may also be opportunities to work across other rehabilitation services within NARS, including in the inpatient and community settings.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assessing, planning, and delivering physiotherapy treatment for rehabilitation outpatients across a diverse clinical caseload
- Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based care plans that support patient recovery and independence
- Contributing to discharge planning
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives, student supervision, and professional development activities within NALHN
What You'll Bring
- Experience in rehabilitation, aged care, or a related acute clinical setting
- Sound clinical reasoning and the ability to manage an independent caseload with appropriate support
- Effective communication skills for working within multidisciplinary teams and engaging patients and families
- Familiarity with SA Health policies and frameworks, or demonstrated capacity to quickly apply public health sector standards
- A current driver's licence appropriate to the role's community and outreach requirements
- Willingness to work across clinical rotations including a 7-day roster and ability to adapt to varied clinical environments
To be eligible for this position, you must have an Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
