About the Role
The Personal Care Worker provides quality, rights-based person-led care that supports each individual to achieve their cultural, emotional, physical, social and spiritual goals during daily living activities.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be kind, relationship oriented and take pride in your work. You will bring a sense of joy and warmth into our residents' home and energy to work as part of an effective team to deliver and support excellent care.
You must have:
- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
- Experience providing personal care, preferably in a residential setting
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and provide proof of the right to work in Australia
You will be able to:
- Work cooperatively as part of a team and follow instructions from appropriate supervisor
- Effectively manage time and organise workload
- Use an electronic documentation system and undertake documentation
- Comply with Vasey RSL Care’s infection prevention and control procedures including bare below the elbows policy and to wear clothing compatible with safe manual handling requirements of the role

About the Brighton East Home
Vasey RSL Care Brighton East is home to 128 residents across two (2) floors. Clinical care is provided by our experienced nursing team in collaboration with allied health staff and GPs, and food and laundry services are provided onsite.
