🌟 About the Role
As a Float Educator at Journey Banyo, you’ll work alongside a supportive team to create a warm, inclusive, and engaging learning environment across the centre. Supporting all age groups, you’ll bring consistency and flexibility to our rooms while building meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
This is a permanent part‑time role, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week), offering stability, variety, and opportunities to grow within a values‑driven organisation.
✅ Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of engaging, play‑based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
- Build caring, respectful relationships with children and families
- Provide support across all rooms and age groups throughout the centre
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
- Contribute to observations, documentation, and reflective practice
- Work collaboratively with educators and leadership to support quality outcomes
- Uphold health, safety, and safeguarding practices at all times
💛 About You
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Must have completed National Child Safety Training
- Understanding of child development and play‑based learning
- A positive, reliable, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with Storypark or similar platforms is an advantage
