People and Culture Business Partner
- Manage HR activities and strategic business partnering for the Glass site.
- Provide coaching and support to site leaders in people and culture issues.
- Assist in the development and execution of the Glass P&C Strategy.
The Role
Reporting into our HR Manager you will manage a wide variety of HR activities, people issues and strategic business partnering for our Glass site in South Australia. You will execute our strategic people initiatives and provide strong coaching to support in the development and capability of our site leaders.
The role will be based at our glass manufacturing plant near Gawler, South Australia. It is a significant user of recycled glass, called cullet, in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of the Glass P&C Strategy.
- Deployment of Talent & Diversity Strategy for Glass
- Coach and provide hands on guidance to operational people leaders in P&C issues,
- Reporting on diversity metrics, absenteeism, turnover provided monthly
- Coach people leaders to optimise HR systems and measurements, and provide hands on assistance
- Support exit interviews process, monitor exit interview data and provide reporting summary
- Assist with the administration and monitoring the results of employee engagement surveys
- Assist in determining appropriate training activities, in line with business requirements, individual development plans and corporate guidelines.
About You
- Qualifications in Human Resources, Employment Relations, or another related discipline
- Prior business partnering experience in an operations environment
- Sound understanding of industrial relations, and Award/EBA interpretation
- A people person, you will be empathetic yet firm and able to align people and business priorities
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building ability
