About Us

Located in Tabbita, 45km north-west of Griffith in southern NSW, the JBS Prime City Feedlot is a 35,000 head capacity feedlot and a major supplier to the JBS Riverina Beef processing facility. Employing approximately 35 team members, Prime City Feedlot has a strong reputation for producing premium quality grain-fed beef. The 6,225 ha of dryland and irrigation farm onsite at Prime City supplies the grain, silage and hay required for the cattle in the feedlot.

About the Role

We are currently seeking passionate Pen Riders and Cattle Handlers to join our dedicated team. Key responsibilities of the role include daily livestock handling tasks such as pen riding and stock movements, diagnosing animal health symptoms, and administering appropriate treatments. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of animal treatments and stock movements, while ensuring strict compliance with JBS Australia’s policies, including Work Health and Safety (WHS), Human Resources (HR), Quality Assurance (QA), Animal Welfare, and Environmental obligations.

What's in it for you?

The entry level hourly rate is $29.50. Pen Riders receive an additional $1 per hour if all requirements are met.

Excellent horse care allowance package with feed and agistment are also provided, as well as stables and paddock facilities, ongoing farrier services, horse feed and vaccinations.
