Hays is partnering with a major client & global organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer for a long-term temporary assignment based in the Adelaide CBD. This role will suit a payroll professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage end-to-end payroll processing while providing support across payroll administration and reporting functions.
Your new role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Processing end-to-end payroll for a large employee workforce
• Maintaining payroll records and ensuring data accuracy
• Managing payroll enquiries from employees and internal stakeholders
• Processing leave, allowances, terminations and payroll adjustments
• Assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting requirements
• Ensuring compliance with relevant awards, legislation and company policies
• Supporting the wider payroll team during a busy period

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated end-to-end payroll experience
• Strong Chris21 experience is essential
• Sound knowledge of payroll legislation, awards and compliance requirements
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Availability to commence at short notice
