An established organisation based in Perth's south of the river is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a temporary contract. This opportunity has been created to provide additional support after the implementation of a new payroll system and will suit a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Your new role

• Processing end-to-end fortnightly payroll and payroll adjustments
• Maintaining employee records and payroll data
• Running payroll reports and reconciliations
• Responding to payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders
• Assisting with payroll compliance and audit requirements
• Supporting payroll system implementation and process improvement initiatives
• Interpreting relevant awards, enterprise agreements and payroll legislation
• Monitoring payroll deadlines and ensuring timely payment runs

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven end-to-end payroll processing experience
• Experience working with DayForce is highly regarded
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards and enterprise agreements
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
